Carshalton Rifle Club has its own indoor 6 lane 25 metre range, which is used intensively for a large number of target shooting disciplines. The range has controlled lighting and air conditioning, so that it is comfortable all year round. Targets can be shot at distances from 6 yards (standard for air pistols) to 25 metres for live fire rifles and pistols. Two types of Turning target are used, to accommodate gallery rifles and pistols in calibres from .22 up to .455, and revolver air pistols on a dueling target system.
A 25 yard running deer target system has recently been installed and an ultraviolet lighting system allows moonlight shooting simulation. A crossbow target system is also available.
